Previously, once you lodged an application through Loan App or ApplyOnline, checking its progress meant leaving Mercury and logging into another platform.

What's changed

The Settlement Details section of an opportunity now shows the latest lender status for applications lodged through Loan App and ApplyOnline:

• Status and Last Updated: You can see the current status the lender has reported, such as Conditionally Approved or Settled, and when the lender first reported it.
• Full status history: Select View status history to see every status update, displayed newest first. If an application has been resubmitted, you'll also be able to see which submission each update relates to.
• Awaiting lender status: If an application has been lodged but the lender hasn't provided a status update yet, you'll see an Awaiting lender status message, so you know the application is still progressing.
• Apply latest status: From the history, this takes you straight to Update Status, so you can bring your opportunity's status into line without hunting for it.

Your opportunity's Current Status won't change automatically. You select the new status yourself in Update Status, as you do currently.

Why it matters

You can see where an application is up to with the lender from the opportunity you're already working in. You'll spend less time switching between platforms and have a clear record of how the application progressed, which you can use when clients ask for an update.

Where to find it

Open the opportunity and navigate to Details > Settlement Details. 

Lender status information appears automatically once an application has been lodged, with updates flowing through once you submit from Mercury. No setup is required.

• ApplyOnline status appears under the ApplyOnline ID on Loan and Commercial Loan opportunities, including applications where the ApplyOnline ID was entered manually.
• Loan App status appears for users with Loan App access.
