New and improved needs analysis questionnaire

Great news, you now have access to a new needs analysis questionnaire in Mercury Nexus.

What's changed?
  • Client-friendly language - We've rephrased questions to make them easy for your clients to understand.
  • Streamlined experience - Clients will only be prompted for information that's relevant to them, thanks to built-in conditional logic.
  • Simplified layout - Organised into user-friendly sections for straightforward navigation.

This new questionnaire will appear in your CRM as Home Loan - Needs Analysis - Oct 2023 and works best in the new client centre. You will still have access to all your other questionnaires.

The new Client Centre is now the default Client Centre in Mercury Nexus.

We’re thrilled about the positive feedback we’ve received and that it is delivering an amazing experience for so many clients.  We’ve decided to make it the default option in Mercury Nexus.

If you still prefer using the old version, you can easily enable It in the Admin App or on an Opportunity-by-Opportunity basis. Learn how to do so here.

However, we are actively working towards retiring the old version soon, so we highly recommend getting up to speed and starting to use the amazing new Client Centre as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your Partnership Manager.

Product Comparison Made Effortless with Mercury Nexus' New Drop-Down Feature

We're excited to introduce a new enhancement to your experience with Mercury Nexus - the brand-new drop-down feature! This update has been crafted to make searching for your clients' product needs more streamlined.

What's New?

Our new drop-down feature allows you to swiftly identify products that precisely match your clients' requirements. Previously, when selecting multiple loan features, the search results would include any products that contained the selected features. With the immense array of results generated, locating products that met all your chosen attributes became a time-consuming task.

How Does It Work?

Whether you're conducting a comprehensive product comparison or diving into a standalone product search, you'll find the new drop-down feature conveniently located under the "Features" tab within the product comparison or search section.

Within the drop-down, you'll encounter two options:

  1. Every Selected Feature: This refined setting hones in on products boasting all the selected features. Ideal for situations where precision is non-negotiable.
  2. Any Selected Feature: Broaden your horizons with this option, encompassing products that possess one, two, or all of the selected features. Versatility at your fingertips.

Instant view of expiring Interest Only rates

Introducing the Interest Only Expiry dashboard, the latest addition to the Analytics App.

We're dedicated to empowering you with data and insights to support and grow your business. The Interest Only Expiry dashboard allows you easily see which clients' have an expiring rate, so you can reach out to them at the right time. It’s a great way to show your clients you care about their circumstances and bring your business front of mind.

Upcoming Interest Only Loans for review

This dashboard gives you an instant snapshot of how many clients have an Interest Only rate that will expire in the next 12 months.

The dashboard will show you:

  • A total balance in the top right corner that shows the total value of all home loans that have expiring Interest Only rates
  • The number of opportunities that have an expiring Interest Only rate broken down on a month-by-month basis
  • Interest Only expiry by lender
  • A table containing each opportunity record so you can easily see key details, including current loan balance and expiry date.

You can click on each graph to filter by month or lender or use the parameters at the top of the dashboard to filter by date range, loan writer, lender, status and rate type.

Interest Only products with no expiry date

If you have Opportunity records without their Interest Only expiry date recorded; this dashboard will allow you to quickly identify these records and add the expiry date, without having to manually go through each opportunity.

You can learn more about the Interest Only expiry reports here on the Connective Wiki.

Why is it important to have an Interest Only expiry date on an Opportunity record?

Aside from being best practice, this allows you to contact your client before their Interest Only rate expires, and before they start looking at other options.

In Mercury Nexus, you can also set up tasks to automatically trigger when your clients Interest Only rate is expiring.

You can find more information on the Analytics App here.

Get faster answers to your questions

In order to streamline and prioritise the way we support you, we’ve introduced prompts into the Mercury HelpDesk.

When you launch a chat session, you will now be stepped through options to resolve the problem. Designed to get you help faster, we’ve also identified the most common requests to save you time.

These prompts also allow us to collect valuable information, so that our team can start solving your requests as soon as they receive your ticket.

FAQ support for your clients

Requests that seem simple to us, can be overwhelming for your clients. To help your clients better understand the information they need to provide in the Client Centre, we've created a FAQ library.

Not having to constantly field questions such as "Why do I need to add three years of address history?" or "What should I include in my transport expenses?" will also save you time.

Clients can easily access the FAQ library by clicking the question mark in the bottom-right corner of their Client Centre. They will find information explaining the question. They can also search by section or use the search functionality to learn more.

Please note, this feature is managed by Connective and isn’t able to be switched off. If you have any questions, please contact the Mercury HelpDesk team.
